Flag of Albania

Red field with a black double-headed eagle in the centre. Red represents bravery and strength; the double-headed eagle represents the sovereign state of Albania. The eagle has been an Albanian symbol since at least the 15th century, used by national hero Skanderbeg. The modern flag dates to 1912 (independence); the communist-era star was removed in 1992. Practise the Albania flag in the Flagzio Europe flag quiz across all eight game modes.
