Blue field with a yellow right triangle separating it from the upper-fly, plus seven full white five-point stars and two half-stars along the diagonal hypotenuse. Blue evokes the colour associated with the UN and EU; yellow represents the sun and hope; the triangle represents the three constituent peoples (Bosniaks, Croats, Serbs) and the country's roughly triangular shape; the stars represent Europe. Imposed by the international High Representative on February 4, 1998 as a politically neutral design, intended to avoid favouring any single ethnic group. Practise the Bosnia and Herzegovina flag in the Flagzio Europe flag quiz across all eight game modes.
