Flag of Bolivia

Three equal horizontal bands of red, yellow and green — the only Latin American flag using Pan-African colours. Red for the valour of soldiers; yellow for the country's mineral wealth; green for the fertility of the land. Adopted in 1851. The unusual choice of red-yellow-green colours predates the Pan-African movement by more than a century and is purely coincidental.
