Flag of Dominican Republic

Centred white cross extending to the edges, dividing the field into four rectangles — two blue (top hoist, bottom fly) and two red (top fly, bottom hoist) — with the national coat of arms centred on the cross. Blue for liberty; red for blood of heroes; white for salvation. The coat of arms includes a Bible open to the Gospel of John, two crossed lances and laurels. Adopted on November 6, 1844, after the Dominican Republic's separation from Haiti. The only national flag with a Bible on it. Practise the Dominican Republic flag in the Flagzio Americas flag quiz across all eight game modes.
