Flag of Guatemala

Three equal vertical bands of sky blue, white and sky blue, with the national coat of arms centred on the white band — a quetzal bird, a scroll, crossed rifles and bayonets, and laurels. Sky blue represents the Pacific and Atlantic oceans; white represents peace and purity. The quetzal is the national bird and a symbol of liberty. Adopted on August 17, 1871. The only Central American blue-white-blue flag with vertical stripes — the others (Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Argentina) are horizontal. Practise the Guatemala flag in the Flagzio Americas flag quiz across all eight game modes.
