Two equal horizontal bands of red over white. Aspect ratio 2:3. Red represents courage and the human body; white represents the spirit and purity of the soul. Known as Sang Saka Merah-Putih — 'the lofty bicolour red and white'. The colours derive from ancient Majapahit Empire banners. Adopted on August 17, 1945, the day of independence. Identical to the flag of Monaco except for aspect ratio, and an inverted version of Poland's flag. Practise the Indonesia flag in the Flagzio Asia flag quiz across all eight game modes.
