Flag of Jordan

Three equal horizontal bands of black, white and green, with a red triangle on the hoist containing a small white seven-point star. Pan-Arab colours; the red triangle represents the Hashemite dynasty. The seven points of the star represent the seven verses of the opening surah of the Quran. Adopted in 1928 by the Emirate of Transjordan. Almost identical to the flag of the Arab Revolt against Ottoman rule (1916), with the star added. Practise the Jordan flag in the Flagzio Asia flag quiz across all eight game modes.
