Flag of Kenya

Three horizontal bands of black, red and green separated by thin white fimbriations, with a Maasai shield and two crossed white spears in the centre. Black for the people of Kenya; red for the blood shed in the struggle for independence; green for the country's natural wealth; white for unity and peace. The shield and spears represent the defence of freedom. Adopted on December 12, 1963 — the day of Kenyan independence. Designed by the Kenya African National Union party. Practise the Kenya flag in the Flagzio Africa flag quiz across all eight game modes.
