Flag of Lebanon

Three horizontal bands of red (top), white (middle, double width) and red (bottom), with a green cedar tree centred on the white band. Red represents the blood spilled by Lebanese fighters; white represents peace and the snow of Mount Lebanon; the cedar of Lebanon is the national tree, referenced throughout the Bible. Adopted on November 7, 1943 — the day of Lebanese independence. The cedar tree has been a Lebanese symbol for over 5,000 years. Practise the Lebanon flag in the Flagzio Asia flag quiz across all eight game modes.
