Flag of Morocco

A red field with a green five-pointed star — the Seal of Solomon — in the centre. Red is the traditional colour of Moroccan rulers, used by the Alaouite dynasty since the 17th century. The green pentagram represents the five pillars of Islam. Sultan Yusef officially added the green pentagram in 1915 to distinguish the flag during the French Protectorate. Retained at independence in 1956. Practise the Morocco flag in the Flagzio Africa flag quiz across all eight game modes.
